The Team


Gregory Katz, Senior General Counsel, joined NCH in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing all the legal affairs of NCH, both across the firm's countries of investment and in New York.  In addition to his intimate familiarity with the firm as NCH's outside counsel since its earliest days in 1993, Mr. Katz brings experience in the areas of international transaction law and corporate finance, the issuance of equity and debt securities, the formation of joint ventures throughout the world, and, on the private equity side, representing investors in emerging markets and fund formation.  Prior to NCH, Mr. Katz was a partner at Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP, where he advised clients on such diverse matters as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, litigation and commercial real estate transactions.  Mr. Katz is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Law School. 

Edward Parisi, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer,
joined NCH in 2007.  Prior to NCH, Mr. Parisi was a Vice President at New York Life Investment Management, responsible for oversight of its hedge funds, investment partnerships, and mezzanine real estate funds, as well as its mortgage and real estate portfolios.  Prior to that position, he was Chief Financial Officer at MeesPierson Holdings (now part of Fortis Bank) in the United States and was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the financial services group.  Mr. Parisi earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant. 

Reuben Rinat, Director of Construction Management,
began working with NCH in 2000 and oversees development and construction for the firm's real estate projects.  Prior to NCH, he was Managing Director of Israel-based Panarama Holdings & Investment Company, where he coordinated all aspects of the construction process from the design phase onward, including planning, permits, working with contractors, tenders, contracts, budgets and execution, as well as all engineering and construction supervision.  He was also design architect and coordinator and supervisor of, among other properties, a complex in the Czech Republic consisting of a hotel, spa, casino, restaurants, and shopping center.  Prior to Panarama, Mr. Rinat was head of the civil engineering department of the city of Hod HaSharon in Israel; Design Architect and Project Site Manager for Israel Military Industries; Design Architect and Senior Coordinator for projects undertaken by the Israel Ministry of Defense; and Design Architect for two of Israel's leading architecture firms, where his work ranged across various categories of large-scale projects including hotels, office buildings and hospitals, as well as residential projects.  He received his architecture degree from the City University of New York. 

Gil Schorr, Managing Director,
joined NCH in 1997.  Mr. Schorr works with all of NCH's offices in the Region on evaluating new investment opportunities, identifying and structuring cross-border transactions and special projects.  Prior to NCH, Mr. Schorr worked in Merrill Lynch's Private Client and Middle Markets sales divisions and in the Sovereign Credit Ratings division of Thomson Bankwatch.  He received a Bachelor's degree in Government from Franklin & Marshall College, and a Master's degree in International Relations from Columbia University.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
