The Kaivas apartment block is part of a 52-hectare, mixed-use construction project under development by DOMUSS. The envisioned total construction area is more than 1 million m2; construction of a retail park, offices, and apartments is planned.
The complex will include 560 apartments.
In the Dreilini area of Riga (a bedroom community), the Kaivas apartment block is positioned between Ulbrokas and Kaivas Streets; it is only a 20-minute drive from the Riga center. Near the apartment block are recently built residences and apartment houses. A nearby pine forest provides peace, quiet and fresh air. Dreilini will be built on 10.7 hectares, with the remainder of the land to be developed in the future.
The project is currently in its design stage, with construction expected to begin 2012/2013.
NCH's investment to date has been in land acquisition and pre-development work. The project will be executed in phases.
